So I absolutely love LOVE camping! I would do it all summer long if I could. No make-up or fixing your hair, seriously how much better could it get? I have some great friends who asked me to go camping during my spring break. Even though I was feeling a little under the weather I told them HECK YES!....because I LOVE camping. The best thing about camping is that you get to see different places. I have camped in some pretty awesome places...like on a small island, in the crator of a volcano, white-clouds, on the beach at Palisades, in rainstorms, in wind storms, on sand dunes, during a lunar eclipse and meteor showers.... and recently in my friends backyard. She has a really big backyard with lots of trees so it felt like I was really out in the wild....however we did have some modern conviences of home. A heater, a lamph, and a laptop to watch movies:) In the morning I was woken up by the neighbor hedging his lawn and car horns honking BUT, I did have a great time. Thanks Kel and Malia can't wait to do it again when I'm not coughing all night long.

Wow, it is true that you love camping! It sounds like you had a good time except for the fact that you were sick (Oscar says sorry ...) I remember some of our good camping memories -- remember our squirrel friend at white clouds? Was it cold? I probably would have wimped out and came inside. You really are a camper at heart! It was fun to read your post. Love you!
Fun to see how much fun you had. Hope you are feeling better. Next time you go camping, you can camp in our back yard. I would love to see you.
